Complete feature breakdown for v1.x
Enter any number of stock journal entries in the Excel sheet and post them all in a single click. No per-voucher limit.
Each entry line can specify a source and destination godown. Works with any number of configured godowns in Tally.
Specify batch number, manufacturing date, and expiry date per entry line for full batch-level traceability inside Tally.
Allocate additional costs (labour, processing, freight) against specific items within the same journal entry.
Supports Material In, Material Out, and Transfer journal sub-types โ post the correct Tally voucher type every time.
Set any voucher date within the active Tally period. Bulk-post historical entries from imports and audits.
Every row is checked for blank item names, zero quantities, mismatched units, and missing godowns before anything is sent to Tally.
Invalid rows are colour-highlighted directly in Excel with a tooltip explaining the issue โ no cryptic error codes.
After posting, a summary panel shows how many vouchers were accepted, how many failed, and the specific Tally error message for each failure.
The tool warns if you attempt to re-post an entry with the same date and narration that was already sent, preventing accidental duplicates.
The input sheet has clearly labelled columns, frozen headers, and protected formula cells so accidental edits can't break the layout.
Tab / Enter navigation down the data columns, auto-fill for repeating values, and paste-from-clipboard support for importing from other spreadsheets.
Save your commonly used entry templates as named sheets inside the workbook. Load any template with one click to pre-fill standard entries.
Default is localhost:9000. Change the host and port in the Settings sheet if Tally runs on a different machine on your LAN.
Licence key is bound to your Windows installation via a UUID stored in the Registry. Transfer is free; contact support by email.
The tool validates your licence online once per 24 hours. It keeps working during the interval even without internet access.
The workbook's VBA project is password-protected to prevent casual inspection or modification of the licensing logic.
Your Tally data, stock items, and ledger names never leave your computer. The only server call is the licence validation ping.
