DataVeil reads the first row as column headers. Headers are never anonymized — only data rows are touched.
Empty cells are left empty. Cells containing only whitespace or dashes are treated as blank and never generate a token.
Every anonymization exports a _map.json file. Load it alongside the anonymized sheet to restore all original values exactly.
You can selectively restore only certain columns — useful when you need to reconcile one field without revealing the others.

Reads and writes the modern Excel format. Formulas, merged cells, and cell styles are preserved.
