How to Get Started

PDF Toolkit Pro is a single self-contained HTML file. There is nothing to install. The steps below take under two minutes from purchase to first use.

Purchase a licence

Click Buy in the nav above. Fill in your name, email, phone, and optional GSTIN. Pay via UPI (scan the QR or copy the UPI ID), upload your payment screenshot, and submit. You'll receive a PDFT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX licence key by email within 12 working hours after we confirm the payment.

Download the file

Visit the Download page and click Download PDF_Toolkit.html. Save it anywhere on your computer — your Downloads folder, Desktop, or a dedicated Work Tools folder all work fine.

You can also bookmark the download page and re-download any time to get the latest version. Your licence key carries over automatically.

Open it in your browser

Double-click PDF_Toolkit.html. It opens in your default browser. You can also drag the file onto an open browser window, or use File → Open in your browser.

Activate your licence

On first open, a licence prompt appears. Paste your PDFT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX key and click Activate. The app contacts our server once to verify the key and bind it to your device. After that, all 12 tools work fully offline for 7 days before the next background re-check.

One device, one key. The licence is bound to the first device that activates it. To transfer to a new device, email us at autech1402@gmail.com and we'll reset the binding.

Using Each Tool

🔗 Merge PDFs

  1. Drop two or more PDF files onto the drop zone (or click to browse).
  2. Drag the file cards to reorder them — that sets the final page order.
  3. Click Merge & Download.

✂️ Split PDF

  1. Drop your PDF, then choose a split mode: By Page Ranges, Every N Pages, or One File Per Page.
  2. For ranges: type a range (e.g. 1-3 or 7) and click + Add. Repeat for each output file.
  3. Click Split & Download. Each output downloads as a separate file.

🗜️ Compress PDF

  1. Drop your PDF.
  2. Pick a compression level (Quick → Maximum). For text documents, use Quick or Standard to keep text selectable.
  3. Click Compress & Download. The progress bar updates page by page.
Note: Maximum / Ghostscript mode re-renders pages as images. Text becomes non-selectable in the output. Use for scanned or image-heavy PDFs only.

🔐 Password Protect

  1. Drop your PDF under Security → Protect.
  2. Set a User Password (required to open) and/or an Owner Password (controls permissions).
  3. Toggle permissions: printing, copying, modifying, annotations.
  4. Click Protect & Download.

⬛ Permanent Redaction

  1. Drop your PDF under Security → Redact.
  2. Set the page number and click Preview to render the page canvas.
  3. Draw rectangles over areas you want to black out. Switch pages and draw more as needed.
  4. Click Apply Redactions & Download. Redactions are permanent in the output.

✍️ Embed a Signature

  1. Go to Annotate → Signature and drop your PDF.
  2. Draw your signature on the canvas. Use the pen size and colour controls to match your real signature style.
  3. Set the target page, X/Y position (in PDF points from bottom-left), and the signature dimensions.
  4. Click Embed Signature & Download.

Updating to a New Version

Download the latest PDF_Toolkit.html from the Download page and replace your old file. Your licence key is stored in the browser's localStorage for that device — it carries over automatically. No need to re-enter it.

Verify Your Download (Optional)

Compare the SHA-256 hash of your downloaded file against the value on the Download page.

Your files never leave your device. PDF processing happens entirely inside your browser using the pdf-lib and PDF.js libraries. No file content, page data, or document metadata is ever transmitted to our servers. Only the licence key and a device identifier are sent — once on activation, then once every 7 days for validation.
