Setup, activation, and step-by-step usage guide
ITDownloader ships as a single Windows desktop app (Start.exe, delivered as a zipped download). It is not available for macOS or Linux.
The tool automates your real, already-installed Google Chrome browser to get past the e-Filing portal's bot detection reliably. Install Chrome first if you don't already have it.
ITDownloader handles PAN/Aadhaar + password logins with no OTP step. Accounts that require OTP or two-factor verification on every login need to be run manually for now.
Go to buy.html, select ITDownloader, fill in your details, pay via UPI, and submit the payment screenshot.
After the admin verifies your payment (typically within 12 working hours), you'll receive an email containing:
• Your licence key in the format ITDL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
• A download link for ITDownloader.zip
• Your GST invoice PDF
Click the download link in the email (or download from here if already logged in). Unzip ITDownloader.zip to a permanent folder on your PC, then double-click Start.exe inside to run it — no installation needed.
On first launch of Start.exe, paste the ITDL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX key from the email and click Activate.
The tool contacts our server, binds the key to your Windows computer, and stores the key in the Windows Registry under HKCU\SOFTWARE\AuthenticTech\ITDownloader\. You won't be asked again on this PC.
Fill in your clients in the Excel template — one row per client. The app shows this table with checkboxes so you can select which clients to run.

Open the app and load your filled-in Excel file. Each client appears as a row with existing-file status for 26AS, AIS, and TIS.
Use Select All, Select None, or click individual rows to choose exactly which clients this batch should run.
If any selected client already has existing files, you'll be asked to confirm before anything is overwritten. Then the batch begins — each client gets its own fresh browser session.
The log panel shows each client's login, 26AS, AIS, and TIS steps as they complete. AIS/TIS PDFs are unlocked automatically right after download.
Open the generated Excel run log — every PDF and output folder cell is a clickable link straight to the file on disk, so you never have to guess where a client's documents landed.
Double-check the PAN, password, and date of birth for that client in your Excel file. If credentials are confirmed correct, it may be a client-specific portal quirk — contact support with the client's PAN.
The key is either invalid or bound to a different computer. If you changed machines, email autech1402@gmail.com with your order reference to request a device transfer — it's free.
This usually means the wrong password was derived. Add the correct password to the "PW for AIS/TIS" column for that client and re-run — the app will pick up the override automatically.
Very large AIS/TIS reports can route through the portal's own "Activity History" async job screen instead of downloading immediately. This currently requires a manual follow-up on the portal for that client.
The portal's bot detection is unusually strict on some networks. Make sure Google Chrome is installed and up to date; ITDownloader launches your real Chrome, not a bundled browser.
