Install, activate, connect TallyPrime and your AI app, and get the most out of the dashboard, reports and tax audit tools.
Download LedgerShield-Setup.exe and run the installer. The app starts with a 3-day free trial (Pro features, one company), so you can set everything up before buying.

Once payment is verified you'll get an email with your key in the format LSHD-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, the download link and your GST invoice PDF.
Open Ledger Shield, go to Licence in the sidebar, paste the key and click Activate.
Email autech1402@gmail.com with your order reference and the Machine ID shown on the Licence page. We'll send you an offline licence file for that machine.
In TallyPrime, press F1 › Settings › Connectivity, set TallyPrime to act as a server, and use port 9000. Keep TallyPrime open with your company loaded while you use Ledger Shield.
Open Ledger Shield and check that it can see your TallyPrime companies. If it can't, see “TallyPrime not reachable” in section E.
Open Connect AI apps in Ledger Shield and follow the steps to connect Claude Desktop (or another MCP-capable AI app) to the local MCP server.
PERSON_0001, and PAN, Aadhaar, phone, e-mail, UPI IDs and bank account numbers are redacted.See sales, margin, cash and bank, receivables and payables ageing, and your GST position for the selected company.
Open the Day Book, ledgers, trial balance, profit & loss or balance sheet, and export any of them to Excel.
Work through Form 3CD clause by clause from the books and export the Excel workbook for your working papers.
Ask your AI app questions about the connected company. On Advanced and Team, when the AI prepares a voucher, GST invoice or master, Ledger Shield shows you a draft first — nothing is posted to TallyPrime until you confirm.
scan-transcripts checks saved AI conversations.Make sure TallyPrime is running with a company open, and that the XML server is enabled on port 9000 (F1 › Settings › Connectivity). Also check that no firewall or other program is blocking port 9000 on that computer.
Your plan's machines are all in use. On a computer you no longer use, open the Licence page and release that machine, then activate again on the new one. If the old computer isn't available, email support with your licence key.
Pro covers 2 Tally companies and Advanced covers 5 (Team is unlimited). A company slot can be released after 30 days to make room for another company, or you can move to a larger plan.
The 3-day trial has finished. Buy a plan, then paste your key on the Licence page and click Activate.
